Overview
This is a reading, writing, and speaking Japanese language class is for people who have had little or no exposure to the Japanese language. By the end of the class, students will have learned how to read and write all Hiragana, Katakana, and 40 Kanji.

In addition to the language lessons and in-class activities are weekly Cultural Tidbits which are used to help strengthen the student's awareness of Japan and Japanese culture by showing how language and culture are intertwined.

Registered and actively attending students will have access to a restricted "Students Only" area of the website which contains classroom related materials and other specialized content.

Registered and actively attending students will also receive free shipping and in-class delivery on books and other products ordered through our online store (shop.tokyomokyo.com).

    Guidelines & Policies

    1. You must register for class to attend the class.

    2. The maximum number of students allowed for this class is 12.

    3. Refunds will be given up to the second class (September 1, 2010). After the second class, no refunds or credits of any kind will be given.

    4. If you do not wish to continue with the course after the first class (August 25, 2010), you must notify the sensei immediately in order to get a refund.

    5. Class begins promptly at 7:00 PM. Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes early on the first day of class to check in and get acclimated.

    6. Please to remember to bring your textbook, a notepad, something to write with, an open mind, a desire to learn, a good sense of humor, and respect for your fellow students.

    7. Class is very serious, but we also have a lot of fun. We look forward to seeing you there.
